Chocolate and Wine Pairing Masterclass Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings for the Chocolate and Wine Pairing Masterclass hosted by The Margaret River Chocolate Company. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

Event Details

The Chocolate and Wine Pairing Masterclass is a one-hour, 18+ event held at Providore, 5123 West Swan Road, West Swan WA 6055.

The experience includes 10 handcrafted chocolate tastings, six Coward & Black wine tastings and four tastings of the venue’s signature Chocolate Sambarino liqueur.

Event inclusions may change where reasonably necessary due to product availability or circumstances beyond our control. Where possible, a suitable alternative will be provided.

Age Requirement and Identification

All participants must be aged 18 years or over on the date of the event.

Valid photo identification may be requested before alcohol is served. Participants who cannot provide acceptable proof of age when requested may be unable to participate in the alcoholic tastings and will not be entitled to a refund.

Tickets must not be purchased for or transferred to anyone under 18 years of age.

Bookings

Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once full payment has been received and a booking confirmation has been issued.

Customers are responsible for checking the event date, start time, venue and number of participants before completing their booking.

Bookings are specific to the selected event session. Arriving at another venue or attending on an incorrect date or time may be treated as a no-show. A refund or reschedule will not be provided in these circumstances.

A minimum number of participants may be required for the event to proceed. If the event does not meet the required minimum, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled event start time are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable.

Refunds are not available for participants who do not attend, arrive at the incorrect venue or choose not to participate in some or all of the tastings.

Refunds are not available for individual members of a group booking who do not attend.

Bookings made using a gift voucher are subject to the same cancellation conditions. Any approved refund for a voucher booking will be issued as voucher credit.

Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule must be received at least 72 hours before the scheduled event start time.

Bookings may be rescheduled once only, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests received less than 72 hours before the event cannot be accommodated.

Once rescheduled, a booking is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled or transferred again.

Arrival and Late Attendance

Participants should arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow time for check-in.

Participants arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time may be refused entry to avoid disrupting the event. This will be treated as a no-show, and no refund or reschedule will be provided.

Allergens and Dietary Requirements

Products served during the event may contain or come into contact with dairy, gluten, soy, nuts and other allergens. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Please contact our team before booking if you have dietary or allergen requirements. We will do our best to assist, but we cannot guarantee that every requirement can be accommodated.

By booking, you acknowledge this allergen warning. Participants are responsible for determining whether the products served are suitable for their dietary or medical needs. Refunds will not be provided where a participant cannot take part due to an allergy or dietary requirement that was not disclosed before the event.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

Alcohol will be served in accordance with applicable responsible service of alcohol requirements.

We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service or participation to anyone who appears intoxicated, behaves inappropriately or fails to follow staff directions. A participant refused service or removed from the event for these reasons will not receive a refund.

Participants are responsible for arranging safe transport after the event and must not drive if affected by alcohol.

Participant Conduct and Safety

Participants must follow all reasonable safety and conduct instructions given by event staff.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive or likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of other guests. No refund will be provided where a participant is refused entry or removed for these reasons.

Event Inclusions

The ticket price includes participation in the masterclass and the advertised chocolate, wine and liqueur tastings.

Refunds will not be provided where a participant chooses not to consume some or all of the products included in the experience.

Cancellation or Changes by Us

If we cancel the event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Where the event is cancelled or changed due to circumstances beyond our control, including power outages, equipment failure, extreme weather or government direction, our liability is limited to a refund or reschedule of the booking fee.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs incurred in connection with attending the event.

Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings while attending the event. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for belongings that are lost, stolen or damaged at the venue.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
